Reminder of Johnson’s Do-Nothing Record on Gun Violence

APPLETON, Wis. – Outagamie County Executive and U.S. Senate candidate Tom Nelson is calling out Senator Ron Johnson through his new billboard reminding voters Johnson has taken $1.2 million in NRA blood money and has refused to take any action to address shooting massacres in the U.S.

Nelson’s new billboard can be seen in Oshkosh on Highway 41 near Johnson’s home.

Nelson campaign manager Irene Lin said, “Our other billboards held Johnson accountable for his role in fomenting the January 6 insurrection, for his racist rhetoric regarding Black Lives Matter and now his appalling do-nothing record when it comes to gun violence killing folks in our churches, schools and grocery stores. We desperately need Tom, a Senator not bought and paid for by the NRA.”

Nelson previously had gone to Johnson’s Oshkosh office to deliver the NRA check to remind Johnson that blood is on his hands with his refusal to address America’s gun violence epidemic.
